Tasting Notes

Varietals were handpicked in October at the peak of flavor ripeness and phenolic maturity. Grapes were carefully cluster sorted, 100% destemmed and fermented in stainless steel. After a cold maceration, daily punch-downs, pump-overs and pneumotage were conducted.

93 pts, Jeb Dunnuck | “The 2019 The Cure (45% Syrah, 29% Grenache, and 26% Mourvèdre) is darker and meatier, with solid black cherry and blackberry-like fruits as well as peppery herbs, iron, and gamey nuances. Beautiful on the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, has some classic Syrah bloody meat character, ripe yet firm tannins, and a great finish."
