2019 Rosé
Out Of Stock
Our favorite expression of “harvest in a bottle.” Rosé is more than an afterthought for us, it is something to celebrate a year’s worth of hard work. We start by selecting and tending premium vineyard sites and end with gorgeous juice from all the vineyards in your glass. The 2019 Rosé is saignée-style and it’s no wimpy pink. What Keith Beavers of VinePair said of our last Rosé holds true for the 2019: “It’s impeccably balanced, has a grip to it, and shines with food.”
Winemaking
Varietals were handpicked in mid-September and October at optimal flavor and phenolic maturity. Each lot had the briefest skin contact of 1-3 hours, to offer a beautiful blush of color while maintaining freshness. The wine was fermented and aged for 6 months in 100% stainless steel.
Tasting Notes
Tangy raspberry aromas abound and dance with a light floral nose. An underlying savory note of white pepper finishes with a watermelon-like refreshing palate. Illusorily “easy-drinking,” this wine is so much more than an aperitif. It is a perfect blend of structure, fruit and aroma allowing it to pair seamlessly with delicate foods, such as charcuterie, light salads and seafood.
