"One of the standouts was the 2016 The Cure, which is 77% Syrah (from l’Aventure) and 23% estate Mourvèdre, all aged 18 months in new French oak. A big, sweet black of ripe black fruits, white pepper, spice box, and hints of chocolate all emerge from this pedal-to-the-metal beauty. It’s one of the larger scaled, richer wines in the lineup, yet it stays light and graceful on the palate, with sweet tannins and terrific length. Don’t miss it." --- 94pts, Jeb Dunnuck
